Dehler Park Facts

The Mustangs 2008 Pioneer League campaign marked a new era in Billings as the Mustangs moved into Dehler Park -- a $12.5 million ballpark built to replace Cobb Field.

In November of 2006, the voters of Billings passed a bond issue to replace aging Cobb Field, which was the home of the Mustangs since their first season in 1948. Shortly after the last out of the 2007 season was recorded, Cobb Field was leveled to make way for Dehler Park.

Jon Dehler, a Billings businessman, purchased the naming rights to the park and named it for his family. Dehler Park is as modern as Cobb Field was old. The park features 2,571 individual stadium seats, 500 bleacher seats, a grass berm and an outdoor suite known as the 329 Club.

The playing field is recessed eight feet below street level, allowing for a concourse above the seating bowl that completely circles the playing field. On the concourse, each baseline has modern amenities including concession stands and restrooms that are greatly expanded compaired to the same facilities at Cobb Field.

Additionally, the Dehler Park concourse includes a "Picnic Pavilion" & "329 Club" for barbecues and large group outings, and a "Kid Zone" play area for children.
